BLS certification/renewal class for healthcare providers and students
Service Description
Basic Life Support (BLS) is intended for prehospital providers (EMT's, paramedics, firefighters, first responders) and in-facility hospital providers (MD/DO, RN/LPN, PT/OT/ST, respiratory therapy, CNA/STNA, etc.). It is also intended for other allied healthcare personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills. Course includes teaching high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants; AHA Chain of Survival; early use of an AED; effective ventilation using barrier device, and relief of choking for adults and infants. This course can be taken by healthcare professionals and students who need initial certification or renewal certification to meet employment and school requirements. Certifications are given the same day as course and are valid for 2 years by the American Heart Association. Class takes approximately 2-2.5 hours and includes video-based learning, hands-on skills practice, and written exam.

Cancellation Policy
Registration cancellations 7 or more days from start of a course will receive a 100% refund on course tuition. Registration cancellations less than 7 days from start of a course will receive a 100% refund on course tuition, minus a $25 administrative fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations 48 hours or less prior to the enrolled class or for students who are a "No Show" on the day of class. However, such students may attend a future class by paying a $25 rescheduling fee. Enrolling with less than 48 hours prior to course is by default non refundable. *If class is canceled by the instructor for any reason, full refunds will be given.*
